Article: Experience a detox program in Thailand

I would like to share with you about a detox that I have briefly mentioned on Instagram.
Recently, words like fasting, detoxing, and fasting have become more common in the general media, and I feel like there is less general resistance to them than before. When I was serious about it more than 10 years ago, I fasted once a week, but when I told people at work or who I met, they would often say, "Ehhh, are you okay with that?"
In June, overseas travel became somewhat freer. When I thought about going somewhere overseas, the first thing that came to my mind was a detox center in Koh Samui, Thailand, which I had been to several times before (four times to be specific ^^ this was my fifth time).
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this was my first time going in about three years.
Anyway, I was happy to be able to escape Japan, and it was impressive that most of the people I talked to were interested when I told them here and there that I was going to detox. I had assumed that people from about two generations older than me were not that interested in spiritual things, based on my own interpretation, but I feel that they have become more sensitive to keywords like "detox and natural healing" than before.
For this reason, I normally don't share this kind of information very often, but it seems that people, including ordinary people, are more interested in "detox", "natural therapy" and "physical improvement" than before, and actually I am quite a picky eater and have pursued this topic to a maniacal level, so I have my own experiences and opinions ^^ I thought I would start sharing them little by little.
As the first installment, I would like to share with you about the detox program I just completed.
This Koh Samui program is run by a Thai doctor at a center where people with rare and incurable diseases from all over the world gather, and people mainly come by word of mouth. The detox method is a little unique, and the main features are: 1. Drink the oil 2. After drinking the oil, you store your waste products 3. The doctor checks what you have stored. Each method has its own detailed methods and steps, and of course there are other things besides these main features. But don't you think that just these three points make a big impact?!
A Malaysian who happened to be on the same flight as me, a resident of Hong Kong, who had been to many fasting centers when he previously lived in Shanghai, said, "I've been to many detox programs before, but this is the toughest. It was really tough, but it was worth it. I'm not sure if I'll come again, though."
When you are at this center, it is common to encounter people who have experienced miraculous healing. It is truly a mysterious place, with people recovering from skin diseases that could not be cured anywhere else, people who have unexplained body pain and tumors disappearing, and people who have had aortic blockages severe enough to require bypass surgery disappearing. However, it is of course open to the general public, and I came here to reset my usual unhealthy lifestyle for the sake of maintaining and maintaining my health.
By the way, the content written here is based on my personal experiences and impressions. Even if you have done the same program, each person's impressions and experiences will be different. Also, I think there are various views, so if you have any opinions or suggestions, I would be grateful to receive them. This is just my personal impression, and I do not intend to force it on you, nor am I sharing it to express an opinion on society, organizations, or academia, or to define problems. I would be happy if you could take it as a piece of reading material, and keep an open mind, thinking that there are experiences like this too.
There were two main reasons why I decided to participate in the detox program this time.
"Vaccine detox"
"I want to deal with the physical discomfort I feel as soon as possible, and the discomfort that comes with age."
In response, he shared what he received from the program.
・"After you got the vaccine, you felt this heavy feeling in this area of your chest and you thought 'I feel kind of down and low'. Now that feeling has been removed," the doctor said, pointing into the bucket. >>>What an eye-opener! I hadn't said to anyone, 'You look dull. You look grassy.' But he knew! (I said, slightly surprised inside.)
・"During the corona pandemic, you must have been feeling bored and wasting your time, and you must have been eating non-healthy meals," said the teacher. "Oh no! You've been found out after all," I said. (This was repeated persistently for several days, and even before I left.)
Wow, the response was better than I expected.
Above all, I am progressing through the program in a much more energetic state than I was the previous four times. It seems like my body and mind are happy to have completed the detox. I especially felt that this program is not just about fasting, but also about reviewing my habits and resetting my programs and habits that I cannot do anything about.
Even though it's called detox, there are things that resonate with people at various levels and layers. Everyone who has been to the center multiple times says that knowing about this program and being able to come is a blessing. Someday, those of you reading this article may visit this center in Thailand when the time comes ^^ (Incidentally, I'm currently considering a visit in October ^^)
Detoxing not only adjusts the body and mind, but has the potential to have an even deeper, more distant impact. With this information in mind, it might be worth considering for anyone thinking of trying a detox in the future.
I feel that the most important thing is to approach it with an open heart and mind, with prayer, appreciation and a humble spirit.
Well, see you in the next article.
